Russian attack injures eight people in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast over past day

Eight people were injured in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast as a result of Russian attacks on 27 August.

Quote: "Eight people were injured. Russian forces attacked two districts of the oblast nearly 40 times with drones and artillery and using an aerial bomb.

In the Nikopol area, Russian forces struck the city of Nikopol, as well as the Marhanets, Pokrovsk and Chervonohryhorivka hromadas. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] A lyceum, a college, shops, an apartment block and vehicles were damaged.

Six people were injured as a result of a Russian strike on the centre of Nikopol. Three of them are in hospital. Three others will receive outpatient treatment."

Details: According to Hanzha, two more people were injured in the Pokrovske hromada: a 65-year-old man was taken to hospital in a moderate condition, while a 59-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment.

In the Synelnykove area, the Vasylkivka and Petropavlivka hromadas came under attack. Houses were damaged.

Background: It was previously known that five people were injured as a result of a Russian artillery attack on the centre of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
