General Staff: Ukrainian forces repel 40 attacks on Pokrovsk front and 35 on Kostiantynivka front
A total of 250 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with the highest number of Russian attacks recorded on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka fronts, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 40 and 35 attacks respectively.

Details: In total, 250 combat engagements were recorded on the front line on 26 August.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Ukrainian defenders stopped two Russian assaults over the past day. Meanwhile, the Russians conducted 45 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two from multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian units repelled 12 Russian attacks. The Russians attempted to advance towards the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Hrafske, Rubizhne, Starytsia, Dovhenke, Radkivka, Okhrimivka, Chuhunivka and Zakharivka.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians did not conduct any assaults over the past day.
On the Lyman front, Russian forces carried out 11 attacks towards the city of Lyman and near Novyi Myr, Novoselivka, Shyikivka and Cherneshchyna.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian troops conducted seven assaults near Kryva Luka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians launched one attack towards the village of Malynivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 35 Russian attacks were recorded. The Russians tried to advance near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Rusyn Yar, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Kucheriv Yar and Dovha Balka.
A total of 40 attacks were recorded on the Pokrovsk front. The Russians attempted to advance towards the settlements of Bilytske, Dobropillia, Hannivka, Chernihivka, Svitle, Vasylivka and Serhiivka and near Molodetske, Novopidhorodnie, Kotlyne, Udachne and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians conducted four attacks near the settlements of Myrne, Rybne and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole front, the Russians carried out seven attacks, attempting to advance towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Chervona Krynytsia, Verkhnia Tersa and Huliaipilske.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian defenders stopped three Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Stepnohirsk.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians tried to improve their positions on one occasion.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
