Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast: 1 killed, 2 injured

One person was killed and two others were injured in the Bucha and Fastiv districts as a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast on the morning of 28 August.

Quote: "Unfortunately, the enemy's morning attack killed a person in the Bucha district.

Another man sustained multiple shrapnel wounds. He was taken to hospital.

A woman was also injured in the Fastiv district – she suffered cuts to her hand. She is currently receiving the necessary medical assistance."

Details: Tkachenko also said that civilian infrastructure was damaged in the Fastiv, Boryspil, Vyshhorod, Brovary and Bucha districts as a result of the Russian attack.

Early reports indicate that 14 warehouses, 16 houses, three apartment buildings and 16 vehicles were damaged.

Relevant services are working at the sites, documenting the aftermath of the attack and providing assistance to people.

Background: On the night of 27-28 August, a Russian drone destroyed a sorting hub of Nova Poshta (Ukraine's largest private postal operator) in Sviatopetrivske, Bucha district, and damaged a nearby production facility.
