Power outages in five Ukrainian oblasts due to Russian attacks

New power outages were recorded in Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Kherson oblasts on the morning of 2 September, and Russian forces also attacked energy infrastructure in Odesa Oblast.

Details: A significant number of consumers have been left without power due to a Russian missile and drone attack on energy infrastructure overnight.

Ukrenergo is asking consumers to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances between 18:00 and 22:00.

Background: Electric-powered public transport in Odesa was suspended following an overnight Russian attack on infrastructure.
