Sting interceptor drones integrated onto Ukrainian MV11 maritime drones – photos

Ukrainian Sting interceptor drones have been integrated onto the MV11 maritime unmanned platform.

Details: The company posted videos showing the system's features. In particular, the interceptors are placed in protected boxes on board the maritime drone. They are secured inside using four guide tubes.

In the video posted by Wild Hornets, the MV11 is fitted with 18 boxes for interceptor drones.

"Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has been using STING for a long time, launching them directly from Magura maritime drones," the company explained.

The interceptor drones are operated via the Hornet Vision Ctrl system, which allows them to be controlled from hundreds of kilometres away.

The MV11 maritime drone was demonstrated during Ukraine's Independence Day parade on 24 August on the Dnipro River, alongside other MAGURA models. It was developed as a transport platform capable of carrying a payload of up to 2,200 kg. The MV11 has a claimed endurance of up to seven days. The drone is designed to operate far from the shore.

Sting is a high-speed interceptor drone developed by the Ukrainian company Wild Hornets, designed to destroy Russian UAVs. As of August 2026, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian defence forces combat units have used Sting to destroy more than 11,000 Russian Shahed/Geran and Gerbera UAVs of various modifications, including jet-powered ones.
