Ten injured in Russian attack on train near Sumy – photos

Ten people have been injured in a Russian drone strike on a suburban train in the Sumy district.

Quote: "The strike has caused a locomotive and a passenger carriage to catch fire. While extinguishing the fire, SES personnel also transported those injured to ambulances.

The enemy carried out a repeat strike while firefighters were operating. None of the personnel were injured."

Details: Emergency workers and local authorities evacuated 19 passengers.

People were evacuated in an armoured vehicle belonging to the State Emergency Service and a local council bus.

Early reports indicate that 10 people were injured in the attack.

Rail traffic was disrupted by today's Russian attacks.
