Russian strike on Kyiv damages buildings, injures 12 including two children

Russian forces have launched a missile attack on the city of Kyiv, damaging an office building and residential buildings in two districts. At least 12 people have been injured, including two children.

Quote from Kyiv City Military Administration: "Four people are known to have been injured, including a 10-year-old girl. Everyone is receiving the necessary medical treatment."

Details: Klitschko said that according to early reports, debris had fallen at several locations in the Dniprovskyi district. An office building and a residential building were damaged. Debris also fell on the premises of warehouses and near a petrol station.

In addition, a non-residential building was likely hit in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

A warehouse building was reportedly damaged in the Solomianskyi district.

Update: As of 04:39, Klitschko said that 12 people had been injured in the attack on Kyiv, including children aged 10 and 12.

Nine people are in hospital.

Background: Russia attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles on the night of 16-17 September. A large-scale air-raid warning was issued across the country.
