Dnipro dealing with aftermath of Russian strike, railway network still under attack – Ukraine's Interior Ministry

According to law enforcement officers, all fires resulting from the Russian attack on the night of 21-22 September in Ukraine have been extinguished, and in Dnipro, search and rescue operations are ongoing to determine if people remain under the rubble.

Quote: "More than 500 first responders and police officers are working at the sites of the overnight attack. As of now, all fires have been successfully extinguished.

Sadly, four people have been killed in Dnipro. There, the Russian military struck grocery warehouses, businesses and a furniture workshop. All emergency units are working on-site, and we are verifying information about people who may be trapped under the rubble."

Details: Vyhivskyi added that there are also casualties in Kyiv – in the middle of the night, a strike drone damaged high-rise residential buildings in a residential district on the left bank. In the morning, a ceramic tile manufacturing plant was hit. Residential buildings were destroyed and damaged in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Vinnytsia oblasts. Over recent hours, railway infrastructure has been under attack.

Background: Russian forces attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types and 212 drones on the night of 21-22 September, while air defence forces downed 186 aerial assets.
