Trump and Zelenskyy to discuss possibility of granting Ukraine licences to produce Patriot missiles
US President Donald Trump has said he and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be talking about the possibility of granting Ukraine licences to produce missiles for Patriot air defence systems.

Details: One of the journalists reminded Trump that he had announced the possible production of Patriot missiles in Ukraine and asked whether Trump would deliver on his promise.
Trump replied that this would be discussed at the meeting with Zelenskyy.

Background:
- Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the United States was in talks with Ukraine about granting licences to produce missiles for Patriot systems.
- On 31 July, Trump said the US had to be "very careful" about allowing Ukraine to produce Patriot interceptor missiles.
