Russian missile destroys textile factory in Kyiv

A Russian ballistic missile struck the TK-Domashnii Tekstyl production facility in Kyiv, causing extensive damage.

Details: "Unfortunately, there is extensive damage to everything we spent years building. But the most important thing is that none of our employees were injured," Sokolovskyi said.

Most of the company's products are manufactured at its own garment factories in Kyiv and Odesa. The production facilities cover a total area of 4,000 sq m and employ around 250 people, including seamsters, cutters, technologists and other staff.

"I want to thank all our partners – our customers and suppliers – for their support and understanding. We will do everything we can not to let them down and to continue fulfilling all our commitments," Sokolovskyi wrote on social media.

"We are holding on, and no matter how difficult and painful it is, we will keep living and doing our thing. The most important thing is that we have a strong and professional team, and that is our greatest asset and capital," he added.

Background:

• In November 2025, warehouse and production facilities belonging to the Tekstyl-Kontakt Group were damaged in a Russian attack on Kyiv.
• It was previously reported that the TK DT-Chernihiv plant, part of the Tekstyl-Kontakt Group, had commissioned 25% of the equipment from the Polish textile factory MPM Zakład Specjalistyczny, which was relocated to Ukraine from Kudowa-Zdrój.
• The remaining 75% of the equipment is expected to be commissioned in 2026. Installation has been complicated by European specialists' reluctance to travel to the border region to carry out commissioning work.
