Russian strike on warehouse in Kyiv Oblast elevates ammonia levels
An elevated concentration of ammonia in the air has been detected near a damaged warehouse following a Russian attack on the Brovary district in Kyiv Oblast.

Quote: "An air quality monitoring station has detected a slight excess of the chemical substance ammonia (NH3) at the location where the fire occurred. No excess has been detected across the city of Brovary."
Details: Tkachenko emphasised that there is no threat to human life and health.
He noted, however, that with this concentration of ammonia, prolonged exposure to open air may cause mild irritation of the nasal mucous membranes or a scratchy throat. The smell of combustion products may also cause discomfort.
Until the situation improves, local residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed, minimise time spent outdoors and drink plenty of water. Air conditioners should be turned off, and air purifiers, if available, should be set to the highest setting.
Residents who begin to feel unwell are advised to seek medical assistance.
