Kyiv Metro halted amid disruptions to power and water supplies

Kyiv Metro services and escalators have been temporarily suspended after the loss of power from external supply centres. The capital is also experiencing disruptions to electricity and water supplies.

Details: The city authorities reported that the situation with Kyiv's power supply had deteriorated due to damage to an energy facility in Kyiv Oblast.

The city is also experiencing disruptions to its water supply. Specialist employees are working to restore services.

The lack of voltage in the power grid has also temporarily halted electric public transport in the Holosiivskyi district and parts of the Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Pecherskyi districts.
