Drone debris falls on two high-rise buildings in Kyiv, explosions heard in city

Debris from a drone reportedly fell on a 25-storey residential building and an eight-storey office building in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district.

Details: Klitschko said that in one case, debris fell on a 25-storey residential building.

Drone debris also struck an eight-storey office building in the Solomianskyi district.

Emergency services are working at the scenes.

Update: Several explosions were heard in Kyiv at around 14:00.

Ukraine's Air Force reported that a missile was heading towards Kyiv after 14:00.

Background: Kyiv Metro services and escalators have been temporarily suspended after the loss of power from external supply centres. The capital is also experiencing disruptions to electricity and water supplies.
