"The scale [of the damage] is quite extensive. A total of 220 windows were damaged. Thank God, no one was injured. All the staff who were on site managed to get to the shelter in time – that saved them," Zaikina said.

Most of the university's students study remotely, although students on several courses had still been attending some in-person classes on campus.

The university administration is now planning to adjust the timetable. Students will not attend classes in university buildings while the aftermath of the attack is being dealt with.

Previously: Russian attacks on 20 and 21 October destroyed part of a building at Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi Kremenchuk National University. Two halls of residence at a local university in Uman were damaged in attacks, while an academic building at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture was damaged in the capital.
