Details: Over the past 24 hours, the Russians have continued their attacks on Ukraine's civilian energy infrastructure. As a result, there are new blackouts this morning in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts.

Ukrenergo notes that emergency repair works are already under way where safety conditions currently permit.

To prevent overloading equipment damaged by previous Russian bombardments, power limitation schedules for industry and hourly outage schedules (covering up to 2.5 queues) for all consumer categories will have to be implemented in a number of oblasts until the end of the day.

Quote from Ukrenergo: "Please consume electricity sparingly during the restriction period! Check the official pages of the regional distribution system operator (Oblenergo) for the outage schedule at your address."

Details: Due to previously applied restrictions, electricity consumption has decreased: as of 09:30, it was 5.8% lower than at the same time on the previous working day – Friday 23 October.

On 25 October, the daily peak in consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 4.8% higher than the peak recorded on the previous Sunday – 18 October.

This was driven by a drop in air temperature, which prompted consumers to use electric heaters during evening hours.

Ukrenergo requests that the use of high-power electrical appliances be limited between 16:00 and 22:00.
