Russians conduct 849 attacks on Zaporizhzhia Oblast, damaging houses and infrastructure

Russian forces conducted 849 attacks on 44 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on 28 October.

Details: Russian forces attacked the oblast with 662 drones of various types, mostly FPVs. The drone attacks targeted, among other places, Zaporizhzhia, Stepnohirsk, Orikhiv, Prymorske and Mala Tokmachka.

Russian forces also conducted 20 airstrikes on 13 settlements, including Komyshuvakha, Zarichne, Veselianka, Tavriiske and Huliaipilske.

The Russians attacked Komyshuvakha, Tavriiske, Veselianka and Orikhiv six times using multiple-launch rocket systems. They also carried out 161 artillery strikes.

Background: DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, reported on 28 October that Russian troops had advanced near Vozdvyzhivka and Luhivske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
