Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin has said that Russia is ready to relocate some of its industrial facilities to African countries, claiming that this would fully serve Russia's interests given the sanctions.

Details: Putin said Russian companies have "considerable investment potential" and "there is a lot of work to be done".
He also said that investments in African countries must be "reliable and protected" to ensure that production can continue "regardless of the foreign policy climate".
Putin was responding to Burundi's President Évariste Ndayishimiye, who said that Africa would not be content with exporting raw materials and importing finished products.
"We must develop our own industrial potential, modernise our agriculture, strengthen our energy infrastructure and logistics routes, and invest more in research and technological development," Ndayishimiye said.
He stressed that Africa must become "a genuine market for production and sales, rather than remaining a consumer market".
Background: On the morning of 29 October, monitoring Telegram channels reported a drone attack on Sterlitamak in Russia's Bashkortostan, where explosions were heard and smoke was seen rising near the Bashkir Soda Company.
