Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv damaged in overnight Russian attack, closed to traffic in both directions

The Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv has been damaged in a Russian attack and traffic has been suspended in both directions.

Details: Klitschko said that the Pivnichnyi Bridge had been damaged in the Russian attack. Traffic is currently closed in both directions.

Workers are assessing the extent of the damage.

Background: Russian forces attacked Kyiv on the night of 6-7 November. Fires broke out in the Solomianskyi district and residential buildings, a kindergarten and a non-residential building were damaged or partially destroyed. Five people were injured, including a 14-year-old.
