Ukrainian paratrooper hits Russian SU-25 attack aircraft with MPADS "Igla"

A paratrooper from Mykolaiv has hit a Russian Su-25 with a man-portable air-defence system (MPADS).

Quote: "On 24 June, a Russian Su-25 ‘Grach’ [Frogfoot – ed.] attack aircraft was successfully hit on one of the fronts by a serviceman of the air defence unit of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The armoured plane of the occupiers was landed forever by the MPADS ‘Igla’."

Details: The report states that the above-mentioned anti-aircraft gunner came to the army as a volunteer for mobilisation and received appropriate training.
