Zelenskyy discusses weapon supplies, grain exports and Russia’s crimes with Macron

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a one-and-a-half hour phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Details: The Presidents discussed the resistance to the Russian aggression and the current situation on the battlefield. Zelenskyy also stated that Ukraine is fighting a real terrorist state and "Russia’s planned cynical killing of the Ukrainian prisoners of war in Olenivka is evidence of this."

Macron and Zelenskyi also reportedly discussed the issue of the supply of new modern armaments and the defence assistance already provided.

Zelenskyy has expressed his gratitude for the "practical contribution to the efforts in the fight against Russia’s impunity, namely by sending medical teams and police officers to establish the facts of crimes committed by the Russian aggressor."

Macron told Zelenskyy about his tour across Africa which resulted in "expanding the anti-war coalition and the consolidation of the international support of Ukraine in the face of Russia’s full-scale aggression against our country."

The Presidents also discussed the situation surrounding the export of Ukrainian grain.
