Details: According to the investigation, in early March 2022, the ex-official of the Kharkiv City Council was recruited by employees of the FSB of the Russian Federation. On their assignment, he got a job at the Anti-Terrorist Headquarters of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv Oblast.

Having gained the access to information, the suspect transferred the contact details of SSU employees to the Russian forces, as well as the offensive routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, locations of checkpoints and military equipment, and the data that he had entered into the closed information system on a daily basis.

Thus, the suspect helped representatives of the special services of the Russian Federation in carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine under martial law.

According to the SSU, in exchange for cooperation the Russian forces provided the "mole" with security guarantees for him and his family if the Russian Federation managed to capture the region.

Currently, the agent has been notified of suspicion of treason committed under martial law.

The court has already chosen a preventive measure for him in the form of detention.

Background: On 29 May, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fired Roman Dudin, Head of Ukraine’s Security Service in Kharkiv Oblast, for negligent performance of his duties. Zelenskyy also promised that the law enforcement would investigate his case.
