Details: The information obtained says that dozens of private houses, two apartment buildings and civilian infrastructure came under Russian fire.

As a result of direct missile hits, all floors from the ground floor to sixth floor of the nine-story building were destroyed. As the rubble was being dismantled, the other two floors collapsed as well.

Personal vehicles parked near the epicentre of the strike were set on fire by the explosions.

Two missiles hit a residential area in the Dniprovsky district. Several more struck the city’s Komunarsky district and Khortytsia Island.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reported that 89 civilians, including 11 children, sustained injuries as a result of the Russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhia.

"A search and rescue operation is underway. More people are being found under the rubble. There is a risk that the building may collapse," according to Tymoshenko.
