Russians hit infrastructure facility and two-storey house in Kyiv – 3 people killed

On 23 November, explosions thundered in Kyiv as Russian occupiers hit an infrastructure facility and a two-storey house in the capital; at least three people have been killed.

Details: Residents of several neighbourhoods in the city have reported the sounds of explosions. 

Updated at 14:14: Vitalii Klychko, the Mayor of Kyiv, has reported that one of the capital’s infrastructure facilities has been hit. Oleksii Kuleba, Head of Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, has confirmed that air defence systems were activated.

Updated at 14:25: Klychko reported several more explosions in various districts of Kyiv. Rescue teams and medics are rushing to the sites. 

Updated at 15:00: The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a two-storey building had been damaged in the strike. Three people were killed and six were injured.

Ukrainska Pravda sources have confirmed that three people in Kyiv have been killed. Debris removal is ongoing.

Updated at 15:42: Klychko has reported that the number of people injured by the strikes in the capital has risen to nine. Eight of them were taken to hospitals in Kyiv, and one was treated by medics at the scene.
