Odesa cut off from water supply due to power outage

All consumers have been cut off from water supply in Odesa on Monday, 5 December, following a large-scale Russian missile attack on Ukrainian infrastructure.

Quote: "Currently, all of the pumping stations and backup lines are cut off from electricity. Therefore, there is no water supply for our consumers anywhere," the message said.

Details: The company added that after the restoration of power supply, the situation with water supply will stabilise.

Quote: "Currently, there may be interruptions in communication and dialling with the contact centre of the water utility [company],"  the statement added.

Background: Emergency power outages have been implemented throughout Sumy Oblast.

Media and local Telegram channels report on explosions in some oblasts after the first wave of Russian missiles in the afternoon of 5 December.
