Details: According to Tymoshenko, Russian forces hit one of the city's infrastructure facilities.

Initially, the information regarding the strike on Kherson had been posted by Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration; however, later Yanushevych deleted his post.

This is not the first time an official from the President’s Office informs the public about oblast events before the information is published by local authorities. The President’s Office of Ukraine secretly explains this by the fact that Tymoshenko is responsible for oblasts.

At the same time, Yanushevych's post was not totally removed, as it was shared by the Kherson City Council.

The Head of the Military Administration reported that Russian invaders hit the Kherson water utility and residential buildings.

In particular, he said that several Russian projectiles hit the administrative building of the utility company and residential buildings located nearby.

A 43-year-old employee of the water utility company died due to mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds.

The Russian attack caused a large-scale fire.
