Explosions rock Belgorod in Russia, authorities say it was air defence

Explosions rocked the Russian city of Belgorod on the evening of 31 December. The authorities of the oblast claimed it was the Air Defence Forces working.

Quote: "An air defence system was activated over Belgorod and Belgorod district. Four projectiles of multiple-launch rocket systems were shot down."

Details: According to Gladkov, there were no casualties.

The governor has stated that windows were shattered in four private houses in the village of Novaya Nelidovka in the attack; in addition, two private houses and a gas supply system were damaged on the outskirts of the city of Shebekino.
