Details: Specialists of Ukrhydroenergo, Ukraine's largest hydropower company, continue to apply operational regulation (reduce the volume of water discharge), considering the need to ensure the balance of the energy system and minimise the consequences of the blowing up of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the invaders.

At the Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant, the water level in the cooling pond is still sufficient to ensure the operation of power units. According to the Ministry of Energy, it will last for ten months to a year. However, in the future, due to a fall in the water level, it may be necessary to replenish the pond and, accordingly, ensure the smooth operation of the plant.

Power engineers in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts continue to record the consequences of the blowing up of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Plant by Russians and the flooding caused by it.

In Kherson Oblast, 158 transformer substations are currently out of power; in Mykolaiv Oblast, 49 transformer substations are without power.

In addition, the water level in Kherson is gradually decreasing, having dropped to 5.3 metres as of 8:00 (Kyiv time) (the maximum was 5.68 metres).

Quote: "Power engineers have already started restoration work where possible. By the morning, it was possible to restore the electricity supply for more than 2,000 households in Kherson and the oblast. More than 16,000 consumers remain without electricity due to flooding," the Ministry of Energy added.

Details: The situation at the Kherson Thermal Power Plant is also under control; after the water recedes, power engineers will begin work to restore the operation of the pumping station, which was flooded.

Due to the fighting, three settlements were cut off from electricity supply in Donetsk Oblast, and an attack on a settlement adjacent to a generating station was recorded. There is also damage due to the attack on Kharkiv Oblast.
