Ukrainian defenders kill another 1,090 Russians and destroy 14 tanks in one day

The Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to resist Russian aggression, killing 1,090 Russian soldiers and destroying 38 armoured combat vehicles, 14 tanks and 11 artillery systems belonging to the Russians in the past day alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 15 December 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 10,654 (+38) armoured combat vehicles
• 8,099 (+11) artillery systems
• 920 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 605 (+0) air defence systems
• 324 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 324 (+0) helicopters
• 6,226 (+20) tactical UAVs
• 1,608 (+2) cruise missiles
• 22 (+0) ships and boats
• 1 (+0) submarines
• 10,699 (+24) vehicles and tankers
• 1,189 (+4) special vehicles and other equipment.
