A production facility and warehouses belonging to the Ukrainian tactical clothing manufacturer M-TAC have been damaged or utterly destroyed by the Russian missile attack on Kyiv on 2 January.

Details: The company added that once the extent of the damage and losses is established, it will start shipping existing goods and/or refunds.

Background:

  • M-TAC (Militarist Tactical) is a Ukrainian manufacturer of tactical clothing, gear and equipment founded by Oleksandr Karasov and Denys Holovko.
  • In the summer of 2022, M-TAC's production tripled. The company opened a 6,000-sq-m factory in Lviv Oblast and leased an additional 2,000 sq m for the factory in Kyiv.
  • In total, M-TAC's revenue in 2022 totalled UAH 600-650 million [roughly US$15-17 million].
