Polish embassy in Kyiv damaged during Russian attack

A Russian missile damaged the Polish Embassy in Ukraine during a large-scale attack on the night of 28-29 September.

Details: Wroński stated that "a missile element or a small-calibre missile" struck the roof of the consular section of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv and pierced the ceiling, "ending up in the kitchen". No one was injured.
The spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said early damage assessment has already been carried out, and the damage is "not significant".
The incident will not affect the embassy's operations, and the consular section in Kyiv will work as usual on Monday.
Background:
- On the night of 28 September, Russia launched nearly 600 drones and 50 missiles at Ukraine.
- More than 70 people were injured across the country during the large-scale attack. In Kyiv, four people were killed, including a 12-year-old girl.
