Number of people injured in Russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhia rises to 49

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, has reported that the number of people injured in a Russian missile strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia has risen to 49.

Details: Fedorov said that the Russians had conducted two missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. In total, Russian forces fired 696 times on 17 settlements in the oblast over the past day. They attacked the settlements of Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, Uspenivka and Mala Tokmachka from aircraft and launched drones towards Novomykolaivka, Balabyne, Komyshuvakha, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Zelene and Charivne.
The Russians also used multiple-launch rocket systems to attack Zaporizhzhia and Poltavka and conducted artillery strikes on Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka and Charivne.
Authorities received 396 reports of damage to residential buildings, cars and infrastructure facilities.
Background: On the night of 27-28 September, the Russians hit Zaporizhzhia. As of the evening, the number of people injured in the attack had risen to 42.
