Russia attacks Kherson: police officer and local resident killed, two others injured
Russian forces attacked a checkpoint in the city of Kherson on the morning of 29 September, killing a 40-year-old police officer and injuring another law enforcement officer. One local civilian has been killed and another injured.

Details: The National Police of Ukraine has reported that Russian troops targeted a checkpoint in Kherson, where a 40-year-old police officer was killed instantly. A 21-year-old law enforcement officer has sustained a blast injury and concussion and has been taken to hospital.
In Kherson's Dniprovskyi district, Russian forces have also dropped explosives from a drone onto a house, injuring a 46-year-old man.
Prokudin said that in the same district, a local resident had suffered fatal injuries during the Russian attack. His identity is being established.
