Zelenskyy to join EU leaders' informal meeting via video and European Political Community summit in person

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will join an informal meeting of EU leaders on 1 October in Copenhagen via video link, but will attend the European Political Community (EPC) summit there in person the following day.

Details: Zelenskyy will attend the European Political Community meeting in Copenhagen on 2 October, but will not be present at the informal summit of EU leaders the day before.

"On 1 October, President Zelenskyy will join the start of an informal discussion among EU leaders on Ukraine via video link, as he will not be able to attend in person," the source told European Pravda.

The official added, "Zelenskyy will participate in the 7th summit of the European Political Community in Copenhagen on 2 October in person."

• Zelenskyy has proposed the idea of establishing a joint air defence system, which Poland and other partners of Ukraine could join.
• The Ukrainian leader also held a telephone conversation with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, in which he discussed preparations for the European Political Community summit to be held in Denmark.
