Russian attacks cut off many households in Chernihiv Oblast from power grid

The Russians have attacked an energy infrastructure facility in the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv Oblast, cutting tens of thousands of people off from the power grid.

Details: As a result of the strike, more than 26,000 households in the town of Bobrovytsia and nearby settlements were cut off from the power grid. Energy workers are already at the scene of the strike, carrying out repairs.

Over the past day alone, the Russians attacked Chernihiv Oblast 20 times. Explosions were reported in 13 settlements. In addition to the Nizhyn district, the Koriukivka and the Novhorod-Siverskyi districts also came under fire.

Background: Russian forces have been targeting Chernihiv Oblast's energy infrastructure for a week. On 26 September, it was reported that several such facilities in the region had been hit.
