Publisher warehouse damaged in Russian strike on Dnipro

On the birthday of the Ukrainian publishing house Smaki on 30 September, Russian strike drones hit their warehouse in the city of Dnipro, destroying part of its print run.

Quote: "We have just been informed that our book warehouse has been damaged by a missile strike. And of all days, it happens on our birthday. We have lost part of our stock but will definitely recover the losses. Thanks to everyone who is with us in this difficult time."
Details: Nataliia Smakovska, the executive director of the publishing house, said the warehouse was on the ground floor of a five-storey building targeted by drones, which caused a fire.
A staff member was present in the warehouse at the time of the attack but managed to hide between walls when he heard the drone approaching.
Quote: "Fortunately, our employee was unharmed – he heard the change in the Shahed's noise and hid between walls. Otherwise he would have been injured by the debris."
