Russian attack causes blackout in Slavutych, Chernihiv Oblast

The town of Slavutych in Chernihiv Oblast has been left without electricity after Russian forces attacked a power substation.

Quote: "The town is cut off from the power grid. The consequences are being confirmed. Firefighters are working to put out the fire."
Details: Fomichev also said that the town is trying to switch to new power sources. Because of the attack, water will be supplied on a schedule, while communication services will continue to function.
"We are setting up invincibility centres where people can charge their phones and cook food. I ask for patience, as this will take time," the mayor said. [An invincibility centre is a heated premises stocked with food and power banks to assist residents facing hardships due to power cuts – ed.]
