Nizhyn in northern Ukraine have no electricity, infrastructure powered from alternative sources

The electricity supply situation in Chernihiv Oblast has deteriorated, including in the city of Nizhyn.

Details: Koloda said that from Monday 6 October, all educational institutions in the city of Nizhyn will switch to remote learning. All critical infrastructure facilities, including the water utility and hospitals, are currently operating on alternative power sources, and the water utility has already published a water supply schedule.
"We have set up eight invincibility centres where all residents of the city can charge their devices. If necessary, we will expand the network of these points," he said.
