Details: A total of 13,000 animals were killed and eight out of ten pigsties were completely destroyed by fire.

"About 13,000 pigs have died, with only around 10% of the animals surviving on the farm. The premises consisted of around 10 old concrete pigsties dating back to Soviet times. The strikes deliberately targeted the pigsties – some of them were hit three times by drones," said Oleksandr Yesin, head of the Nova Vodolhava hromada, in a comment to Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne. There were no human casualties. A security guard was injured while fleeing a fire caused by the attack, but medics treated him on site.

The large-scale drone attack on the company began at around 01:15, with a second wave following an hour and a half to two hours later. In total, about 20 Shahed drones struck the farm.

According to the State Emergency Service, a large-scale fire broke out: eight livestock buildings were ablaze, covering a total area of 13,600 sq m.

Nine SES appliances and 32 emergency workers, including bomb disposal experts and a rescue officer, were involved in dealing with the aftermath of the attack.

Yesin said the company has been almost completely destroyed.
