Quote: "Under the agreements reached between the club, the player and the Bolivian Football Federation, Diego will participate in only one match – against Jordan. He will then return to Ukraine and is expected in Lviv on 11 October.
The position of both the club and the player is clear and agreed upon: Diego will not travel to the capital of the aggressor state and will not take part in the match scheduled there."
Details: This season, Arroyo has been named twice in FC Shakhtar Donetsk's starting squad for Ukrainian Premier League matches but has not yet appeared on the pitch.
Arroyo, 20, joined Shakhtar in February 2025. The club paid €950,000 to his former team, Bolivar, but Arroyo has not yet established regular playing time with the first team.
