Four members of a family killed in Russian attack on Lviv Oblast

Four members of a family were killed in the village of Lapaiivka in Lviv Oblast as a result of a Russian attack on the night of 4-5 October. The youngest victim was a 15-year-old girl.

Details: Another member of the family is receiving medical treatment in hospital, Lviv Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported.
At the scene of the destroyed house, a relative of the family, Halyna, said that a direct strike killed her aunt and that aunt's husband, their daughter-in-law and 15-year-old granddaughter. The bodies of the last two were found severely damaged. Halyna said her relatives were "literally torn apart", as reported by the Kyiv24 TV channel.
"I don't know what to say. It's just horror. In the 21st century, such cruelty against a nation. And the world is watching. Maybe they'll wake up only when the same happens to them," Halyna said through tears.
Law enforcement officials reported that two residents of neighbouring houses were also taken to hospital, while three others received medical assistance on the spot.
A criminal investigation has been launched under Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war resulting in loss of life.
Background: On the night of 4-5 October, Russia launched more than 50 missiles and around 500 attack drones against Ukraine targeting Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa and Kirovohrad oblasts.
