Part of Russia's Belgorod Oblast loses power after operations by unidentified drones

Thousands of Russia's Belgorod Oblast residents have been left without electricity following a drone attack.

Quote from Gladkov: "Following last night's work by our energy and emergency services, there is still a partial power outage in 24 settlements, affecting 5,400 residents – this includes Belgorod as well as the Belgorod, Valuyki, Volokonovka, Graivoron and Shebekino districts.

Repair work is ongoing. We hope it will be completed soon."

Details: Gladkov also announced a meeting of the Belgorod Oblast government.

In addition, the Russian Defence Ministry claimed that over 250 drones had been downed.

Background: The Russian city of Belgorod and nearby settlements experienced power outages on the evening of 5 October following an attack on the Luch substation.
