Ukrainian drones have struck a rare Russian Zhitel electronic warfare station in temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast.

Quote: "The R-330Zh Zhitel radio jamming station is an extremely rare and costly target. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, only 23 such enemy systems have been visually confirmed destroyed.

Recently, in Luhansk Oblast, fighters of the 412th Nemesis Regiment, in cooperation with the aerial reconnaissance unit of one of the State Border Guard Service units, located and hit this very rare specimen."

Details: The military said the Zhitel is a complex and multifunctional system.

According to its technical specifications, it can jam ground radio communications at a range of up to 25 km and airborne communications up to 50 km.

The station can locate sources of radio emission and determine their coordinates, and it can impose radio interference on satellite communications, GPS navigation and GSM base stations.
