Firefighter injured in Russian artillery shelling of Nikopol

A 33-year-old firefighter has been injured in Russian artillery shelling of the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Quote from Lukashuk: "In Nikopol, a 33-year-old firefighter has been injured in an artillery strike. He has been taken to hospital with a shrapnel wound to his leg.

A fire station, a house and an apartment building have been damaged."

Details: Two districts of the oblast came under Russian attack during the day.

In the Synelnykove district, Russian forces launched drone attacks on the Mykolaivka, Mezhova and Pokrovske hromadas, damaging infrastructure. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
