Details: Bilopillia Mayor Yurii Zarko reported that Russian drones had attacked the city throughout the entire day.

Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne Sumy wrote that Bilopillia had been left without power due to drone strikes on energy facilities.

Background:

• On the night of 7-8 October, two power engineers were injured after Russian forces attacked a thermal power plant belonging to DTEK, the largest private energy company in Ukraine.
• On 8 October, Russian forces conducted two attacks against DTEK, hitting a plant in Donetsk Oblast where coal for thermal power stations is enriched.
