Former AC Milan and Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has become an ambassador for the Russian betting company Fonbet.

Details: The terms and financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Pirlo is expected to take part in several public events organised by Fonbet in Moscow and other Russian cities.

Pirlo is a legend of both AC Milan and the Italian national team, with whom he won the 2006 World Cup. The midfielder also played for Juventus, Brescia and Inter.

After retiring as a player, Pirlo became a coach. His most recent position was at Sampdoria, which he left at the start of the 2024/25 season. Prior to that, he managed Fatih Karagümrük and Juventus, and in both cases, he stayed no longer than a year.

Background: Previously, another legendary former footballer, Ronaldinho, became an ambassador for a Russian betting company.
