Trump does not think Putin will attack Finland but is ready to defend it

US President Donald Trump does not believe that Russia will attack Finland, but he said he would agree to defend it.

Details: A journalist asked what would happen if Russia and Vladimir Putin suddenly attacked Finland – whether America would defend it.

Quote: "I would. Yes, I would. They're a member of NATO. They're great people, but I don't think that's going to happen. I don't think he's going to do that.

I think the chances of that are very, very small. But it's very interesting because you [Finland – ed.] have a very big military relative to your size.

You have a very powerful army, one of the best. And certainly, we will be there to help."
