Details: Russia attacked Sumy Oblast nearly 50 times in one day, injuring 3 people. A Russian FPV drone injured a 27-year-old man and a woman of the same age in the Mykolaivka hromada. Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man was injured in the Konotop district while repairing a damaged section of railway. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Russian attacks also damaged a civilian infrastructure facility in the Bilopillia hromada.
Background: Emergency power outage schedules were introduced in Sumy Oblast, while several districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were left without electricity. Residents of Zaporizhzhia were being urged to save gas and traffic across the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) dam was suspended. Those were the consequences of a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of 9-10 October.
