Russian shelling kills 2 in Kherson and Bilozerka, 5 injured

Russian forces have killed two men and injured five others in artillery attacks on Kherson and Bilozerka on Saturday 11 October.

Details: Russian forces shelled Kherson's Dnipro district with artillery on Saturday 11 October. Emergency workers pulled a 39-year-old man from under the rubble of a damaged house. He suffered blast and head injuries, a concussion, head abrasions and chest trauma. Medics have transported him to hospital in a serious condition.
In Kherson's Korabelnyi district, artillery strikes injured two men aged 53 and 60. Both suffered blast and head injuries, concussions, shrapnel wounds to the shoulder and fractures to their thighs. The emergency medical team took them to hospital, where doctors are fighting to save their lives.
At around 15:00, another Russian artillery struck the Korabelnyi district again, hitting two more men. One of them died from his injuries on the way to hospital. His identity is being established.
At around 10:30, Russian troops opened fire on Bilozerka, wounding another 39-year-old resident. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his shoulder and neck. He is receiving appropriate medical treatment.
Another strike on Bilozerka killed a 24-year-old man. His injuries were incompatible with life.
Background: On 9 October, a Russian drone strike killed a municipal worker in the city of Kherson.
