Russian forces have advanced in three settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, DeepState reports

DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, has reported that Russian troops have advanced along several sections of the front line in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

Details: Russian forces have strengthened their positions in the settlements of Poltavka (Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia Oblast), Nykonorivka (Kramatorsk district, Donetsk Oblast) and Kotlyne (Pokrovsk district, Donetsk Oblast). The line of contact has also been updated near the village of Vyimka in Bakhmut district, Donetsk Oblast.

DeepState maps show that:

  • On the Novopavlivka front, the area under Russian control has expanded by 0.99 sq km, while the grey zone has grown by a further 4.12 sq km.
  • On the Pokrovsk front, Russian forces have increased their gains by 3.72 sq km, with the grey zone widening by 2.81 sq km.
  • On the Siversk front, by contrast, the area under Russian control has decreased by 5.46 sq km, while the grey zone has expanded by 2.03 sq km.

The front line has remained unchanged on other fronts.

Overall, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have captured 4.71 sq km, but after the front line was reassessed, the area where they have stable control has shrunk by 0.75 sq km. Meanwhile, the grey zone has expanded by 8.56 sq km.
