Trump urges his envoy to "get Russia done"
US President Donald Trump has urged Steve Witkoff, his Special Envoy to the Middle East, to focus on resolving the issue of the Russo-Ukrainian war once the conflict in Gaza is over.

Details: During his address to the Knesset, Trump once again boasted that he had "settled eight wars in eight months", drawing applause from the audience.
"We took a big cloud off of the Middle East and Israel," he said, dismissing predictions that Iran might seek to revive its nuclear programme.
The US president also turned to Witkoff and said "First we have to get Russia done" – apparently referring to the Russo-Ukrainian war.
